TECHNICAL SKILLS VITAL IN ACHIEVING SELF EMPLOYMENT DREAMS
Morgan Kennedy Alugwe joined Kaiboi Technical Training in 1997 and pursued Joinery, carpentry and Automotive Engineering. His stay at Kaiboi Tecnhical enabled him to hone skills and knowledge that would later transform his life for the better. The carpentry and Joinery course which he studied gave birth to the idea to start a furniture and joinery shop at Namgoi, Nandi now named Namgoi furnitures. His move was prompted by the unending demands by the locals who needed household furniture, school furniture among other carpentry services. The demands drove Morgan to use his skills acquired at the institute to develop and expand his furniture industry. Namgoi furniture staff performing their daily operations Mr.Alugwe started off with 3 staff that assisted him accomplish carpentry tasks at his workshop and later expanded the business that saw him hire 10 more staff members.
